Germany: Winter vegetables in focus among consumers

According to an AMI analysis based on the CPS GfK household panel, carrots were about 39% cheaper in October 2024 compared to the same month of the previous year. Consumers were buying more, resulting in a 6% increase in the quantity purchased compared to October 2023. Cauliflower was around 3% cheaper in October of this year.
