Market Report on Cucumber Prices in Poland - Data as of July 14, 2025

• The wholesale market in Warsaw (Bronisze) shows a significant increase in cucumber prices. Field-grown cucumbers are priced between 1.26 and 2.30 EUR per kg, with a notable change of +25.9%. Glasshouse short cucumbers have also risen by +31.6%, with prices ranging from 1.15 to 1.47 EUR per kg.
  Cucumber in brine and low-salt cucumbers maintain stable prices, with both ranging from 1.88 to 2.51 EUR per kg and 2.30 to 2.51 EUR per kg, respectively, showing no change in their pricing.
  
• In Poznan (WGRO), cucumbers are experiencing an outstanding increase in prices, with rates soaring by +88.9%. The cost ranges from 8.38 to 9.42 EUR per 5 kg, which translates to approximately 1.68 to 1.88 EUR per kg. Glasshouse cucumbers also observed a significant rise of +43.8%, priced between 5.76 and 6.28 EUR per 5 kg, equivalent to about 1.15 to 1.26 EUR per kg.
  
• At the Kalisz market (Giełda Kaliska), cucumber prices also depict variances. Cucumber gruntowy dom shows a moderate increase of +13.6%, priced between 1.26 and 1.36 EUR per kg. In contrast, cucumber kiszony małosolny dom shows a decline, with prices dropping by -16.7%, maintaining a stable price of 3.14 EUR per kg. Cucumber kiszony dom prices remain unchanged at 2.51 EUR per kg. Meanwhile, glasshouse cucumbers recorded a slight increase of +6.3%, with prices ranging from 0.84 to 0.94 EUR per kg.
