Price Analysis of Cucumbers on Polish Wholesale Markets as of February 28, 2025

• In Warsaw's Bronisze market, field-grown cucumbers are priced between €2.51 and €3.14 per kilogram, with no price change observed. Cucumbers in brine are available for €2.09 to €2.51 per kilogram, also with no price fluctuation. Imported greenhouse cucumbers are priced from €1.88 to €2.51 per kilogram, maintaining stable prices. There is a notable decrease of 6% in the price of short glasshouse cucumbers, which now range from €1.83 to €2.30 per kilogram.
  
• On the Poznan wholesale market (WGRO), cucumbers are sold in 5 kg units, with prices ranging from €15.71 to €16.13, equivalent to approximately €3.14 to €3.23 per kilogram, showing no change. Glasshouse cucumbers in Poznan are priced between €11.10 and €11.73 per 5 kg, translating to €2.22 to €2.35 per kilogram, with prices remaining stable.
  
• At the Kalisz market (Gielda Kaliska), domestic field-grown cucumbers range from €2.51 to €2.93 per kilogram, with prices remaining unchanged. Home-produced pickled cucumbers and lightly salted cucumbers are priced uniformly at €2.51 per kilogram and €6.28 per kilogram, respectively, with no changes noted. Imported glasshouse cucumbers have seen a significant price decrease of 20%, now priced at €1.68 per kilogram. A 16.7% decline is observed in domestic glasshouse cucumbers, now at €2.09 per kilogram.
