- The latest data on cucumber prices at Poland's major wholesale markets reveal varying trends for different types of cucumbers.
In Warsaw (Bronisze), as of June 5, 2025, field-grown cucumbers are priced between 0.84 EUR/kg and 1.15 EUR/kg, with no change noted.
Cucumbers in brine have a price range of 1.88 EUR/kg to 2.09 EUR/kg, showing stability with no change.
Low-salt cucumbers are priced between 2.51 EUR/kg and 2.93 EUR/kg, also maintaining stability with no fluctuation.
Glasshouse short cucumbers, however, have experienced a notable decrease of 18.8%, now priced between 0.58 EUR/kg and 0.79 EUR/kg. - At the Poznań Wholesale Market (WGRO), data from June 4, 2025, shows cucumbers priced between 6.28 EUR for 5 kg (1.26 EUR/kg) and 7.33 EUR for 5 kg (1.47 EUR/kg), with no change observed.
Glasshouse cucumbers range from 4.61 EUR for 5 kg (0.92 EUR/kg) to 5.24 EUR for 5 kg (1.05 EUR/kg), also with no price change. - The Praska Giełda Spożywcza on June 4, 2025, shows cucumber prices at a uniform 0.94 EUR/kg, with a significant decrease of 25.0%.
- In Kalisz (Giełda Kaliska), as of June 5, 2025, ground cucumbers are priced at a flat 0.52 EUR/kg, reflecting a decrease of 28.6%.
Home-style pickled cucumbers are stable at 2.51 EUR/kg.
Low-salt pickled cucumbers are also stable at 3.14 EUR/kg.
Glasshouse cucumbers in Kalisz are sold for 0.63 EUR/kg, showing a decrease of 7.7%.
