Sakata acquires Sana Seeds
Sana Seeds, a Dutch company specialising in the cultivation, production and sale of high quality cucumber varieties, joins Sakata Vegetables Europe.
With this acquisition, the Japanese seed company invests in the high-value Dutch cucumber segment. Following the acquisition in 2017 of a Jordanian company specialising in BetaAlfa cucumbers, Sakata strengthens its
Sakata Vegetables Europe.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
