W ciągu sezonu 2024/2025 Hiszpania zaimportowała rekordową ilość 24,57 miliona kilogramów ogórków, zgodnie z danymi z Estacom (Icex-Tax Agency) przeanalizowanymi przez Hortoinfo. Import kosztował 27,68 miliona euro, a średnia cena wynosiła 1,13 euro za kilogram. Maroko odpowiadało za 75,5% całkowitej ilości, wysyłając 18,55 miliona kilogramów.
