Andalusian garlic production in danger
The provincial secretary of COAG Cordoba, Carmen Quintero, took part in the National Garlic Round Table, held in Las Pedroñeras (Cuenca), where the reduction in production, the drought and the alleged fraudulent entry of frozen garlic from China into the European Union were discussed.
Carmen Quintero explained that "the Andalusian garlic growers started the season,
and that they are now in the process of producing garlic.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
