Serbia worries about the reduction in garlic production
Garlic imports have a negative impact on the production of Serbian garlic, said Serbian farmer Aleksandar Granich.
The Serbian Chamber of Commerce reports that in the last five or six years garlic planting in Serbia covers 1,295 hectares and produces 3,750 tons of this product. But in the 2022/2023 season, many garlic growers have reduced their planting and production areas.
