"Sharp reduction" of up to 20% in garlic acreage in Spain
The garlic contact group, made up of heads of the French, Italian and Spanish sectors, as well as their respective administrations, met in Rovigo (Italy) to analyse the forecasts for this year's campaign, which point to a sharp reduction in the cultivation area in Spain of between 15 and 20%, from 24,876 hectares in 2023 to 20,926 hectares
