Peruvian ginger exports remain below expectations
In 2024, Peruvian fresh ginger exports continue to fall short of expectations. In the last week, the country exported 694 tons of ginger, i.e. 12% less than in the previous week and 50% less than in the same week in 2023, according to data from Fresh Fruit. So far, Peru has exported less than 1,000 tons of fresh ginger per week and it's only exported a total of 3,297 tons up to this week,
