Kenya saw a decrease in revenue from fresh vegetable exports, dropping from around $345 million in 2023 to $158 million in 2024. This decline is linked to worries regarding pesticide residues. The export quantity decreased from 164,000 to 74,000 tonnes, similar to the 75,000 tonnes in 2022.
