Flanders: Large-scale trial cultivation of leeks on water launched

On a floating platform in a 3,000 m² pool, as much leek grows as on 1.5 to 2 hectares of outdoor land. With the support of the Flemish government, the project partners Inagro, REO, Hydromasters, and Indurra aim to investigate whether this cultivation method is feasible.
