Bejo launches Yakama, its first yellow onion with a single centre
This year the onion crop has a smaller area, perhaps 12% less than in 2022, when it was already down by up to 15%. In the Guadalquivir Valley in Andalusia, some growers have reduced the area by up to 50% due to the drought. "Since October it has been very difficult to irrigate.
