Gemüsegarten Pfalz kicks off the outdoor vegetable season in Germany with the harvest of spring onions.

With a cultivation area of 2,000 hectares to 2,500 hectares throughout the season, the Palatinate region is the undisputed European champion in spring onion cultivation. From March to November, over 350 million bunches of the delicious and particularly healthy superfood are grown here, contributing to food security in Germany.
