Germany: Onion harvest has begun
In south-west Germany, the first onions of the new season are already ready for marketing. The producers have had to work hard in the last few weeks, which were characterised by drought and heat, according to the German Onion Association (Fachverband Deutsche Speisezwiebel e.V.).
