Kyrgyz authorities have blocked the import of 26.978 tonnes of onions from Uzbekistan, as reported by the Ministry of Agriculture. The shipment was halted at the Dostuk border checkpoint because it did not meet phytosanitary requirements. Specifically, the consignment did not have the necessary phytosanitary certification.
