In the past, as reported by reefertrends, Moroccan onion exports were less than 10,000 tons until 2013. They then steadily increased to over 20,000 tons in the 2013/14 season, 40,000 tons by 2018/19, and for the first time exceeded 60,000 tons in 2022/23.
