35% less new potatoes in Spain
The Andalusian early new potato harvesting season is starting these days in the provinces of Seville (the main producer), Cordoba and Cadiz with a slightly smaller estimated sown area than last year. However, although the area sown is similar, the expected production will be drastically lower due to climatic factors.

"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
