Egyptian potato exports to Greece have reached a record high, accounting for 65% of imports in the 2023/24 season.

Egypt is continuing to increase its potato exports to Greece, with EastFruit reporting that over 156,000 tons of ware potatoes were imported from Egypt to Greece in the marketing year 2023/24. This import was valued at $64 million, representing a 12% increase from the previous season and a 71% rise from the prior year.
