Egypt has significantly expanded its share in Spain's sweet potato market, with exports almost quadrupling during the 2024/25 marketing year (MY), as reported by EastFruit. From July 2024 to June 2025, Egypt exported 18,600 metric tons of sweet potatoes to Spain, amounting to approximately US$12.4 million.
