Market Report on Potato Prices in Poland as of August 7, 2025

On the Krakow (Rybitwy) market, the price for standard potatoes ranged from 0.13 to 0.21 EUR per kg as of August 4, 2025.
For early potatoes on the same market, prices varied between 0.63 and 0.84 EUR per kg.
Potatoes sold in 15 kg bags were priced between 1.68 and 3.14 EUR, which translates to approximately 0.11 to 0.21 EUR per kg.
In Warsaw (Bronisze), as of August 7, 2025, standard potatoes were priced from 0.17 to 0.21 EUR per kg.
Potatoes of the IRGA variety ranged from 0.23 to 0.28 EUR per kg.
The Iris variety was slightly higher, with prices between 0.24 and 0.29 EUR per kg.
In Poznan (WGRO), early potatoes were sold in 15 kg bags, with prices ranging from 2.30 to 3.14 EUR, equating to approximately 0.15 to 0.21 EUR per kg as of August 4, 2025.
At the Praska Giełda Spożywcza, potatoes were uniformly priced at 0.21 EUR per kg as of August 6, 2025.
In Rzeszow (Agrohurt), red potatoes were priced between 0.27 and 0.31 EUR per kg on August 7, 2025, reflecting a decrease of 15.2%.
Standard potatoes on this market also ranged from 0.27 to 0.31 EUR per kg, with a decrease of 6.7%.
Early potatoes, however, saw an increase of 7.7%, priced the same at 0.27 to 0.31 EUR per kg.
In Wroclaw (Targpiast), domestic potatoes were priced between 0.17 and 0.21 EUR per kg as of August 7, 2025.
On the Kalisz (Gielda Kaliska) market, early domestic potatoes sold in 15 kg bags were priced between 2.09 and 2.51 EUR, translating to approximately 0.14 to 0.17 EUR per kg as of August 7, 2025.
