Mercadona is preparing the winter campaign for Spanish potatoes.
Suppliers of Mercadona have completed the planting of "verdete" potatoes, a typical winter crop in the regions of Murcia and Andalusia that has allowed Mercadona to have new domestically-sourced potatoes in all of their stores.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
