Report on Potato Prices in Poland as of August 4, 2025

On August 4, 2025, the wholesale market in Krakow (Rybitwy) reported prices for regular potatoes ranging from 0.13 EUR to 0.21 EUR per kilogram, with no change in price observed.
Early potatoes in the same market were priced between 0.63 EUR and 0.84 EUR per kilogram, also showing no price change.
In Warsaw (Bronisze), on August 4, 2025, regular potatoes were priced from 0.17 EUR to 0.21 EUR per kilogram, maintaining a stable price level.
Potatoes of the IRGA variety experienced a significant price decrease of 19%, with prices now ranging from 0.23 EUR to 0.28 EUR per kilogram.
The iris variety of potatoes showed stable prices, ranging from 0.24 EUR to 0.29 EUR per kilogram.
At the Kalisz (Gielda Kaliska) market, early domestic potatoes were priced at 2.09 EUR per 15 kg bag on August 4, 2025, which translates to approximately 0.14 EUR per kilogram.
This price reflects a decrease of 9.1%.
