- On January 27, 2025, the prices for potatoes on various wholesale markets in Poland displayed notable variations.
At the Warsaw (Bronisze) market, the price of domestic potatoes ranged from 0.24 to 0.35 EUR per kilogram, with no change in price.
Imported potatoes at the same market were priced between 0.37 and 0.84 EUR per kilogram, also showing no change.
The Irga variety of potatoes was priced between 0.31 and 0.42 EUR per kilogram, with no price fluctuation.
Early imported potatoes were priced from 0.94 to 1.05 EUR per kilogram, with no change.
Potatoes of the Iris variety were priced between 0.39 and 0.46 EUR per kilogram, with no change. - In Poznan (WGRO), the price for potatoes was listed at 2.51 to 3.77 EUR for a 15 kg bag, translating to approximately 0.17 to 0.25 EUR per kilogram, with no price change observed.
- At the Rzeszow (Agrohurt) market, the price for potatoes ranged from 0.25 to 0.31 EUR per kilogram, reflecting a significant decrease of 32.5%.
- In Wroclaw (Targpiast), early imported potatoes from Greece were priced between 0.63 and 0.98 EUR per kilogram, with no change in price.
Domestic potatoes in Wroclaw ranged from 0.21 to 0.38 EUR per kilogram, with prices remaining stable. - At the Kalisz (Gielda Kaliska) market, domestic potatoes were priced between 3.77 and 4.61 EUR for a 15 kg bag, equivalent to approximately 0.25 to 0.31 EUR per kilogram, reflecting a price increase of 33.3%.
