The wholesale market in Warsaw (Bronisze) has provided recent data on potato prices as of December 23, 2024.
The price for domestic potatoes ranges from 0.21 to 0.31 EUR per kilogram, with no change reported.
Imported potatoes are priced between 0.37 and 0.84 EUR per kilogram, showing a significant decrease of 17.9%.
The IRGA variety of potatoes maintains a stable price range of 0.31 to 0.42 EUR per kilogram.
Early imported potatoes are steady with prices between 0.89 and 1.02 EUR per kilogram.
Potatoes of the iris variety remain unchanged, priced from 0.39 to 0.46 EUR per kilogram.
Meanwhile, at the Kalisz wholesale market (Gielda Kaliska), the price for domestic potatoes is recorded at 3.14 EUR for a 15 kg bag, which translates to approximately 0.21 EUR per kilogram.
This reflects a notable increase of 25.0% compared to previous data.
