The local potato is gaining popularity in Catalonia
Although potatoes are one of the basic ingredients in typical Catalan dishes, such as xuquet or trinxat, Catalonia has never been known for its potato production volumes within its territory. For all these reasons, the company CatOrigen has set out to ensure that the consumer has regular access, from June to December, to local, quality potatoes.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
