Almeria peppers return to the US market.
On the 29th of December 2022, the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) of the United States closed the doors to the export of peppers from Almeria due to different detections of Ceratitis capitata, the so-called Mediterranean fruit fly.
In view of the loss of a new season this year, -the export window for peppers will be closed
