According to data that Hortoinfo produced from Faostat, the statistical agency of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), in 2022, the world produced a record 36,972.49 million kilos of peppers.
This volume was produced on 2,020,816 hectares, and the average yield per square meter stood at 1.83 kilos.
