In 2024, Spain imported 101 million kilograms of peppers from Morocco, which is 199.9% more than in 2015, according to calculations by the trade website Hortoinfo based on ICEX Estacom data. Overall, the country imported 109.47 million kilograms of peppers, with 92.36% of them coming from Morocco.
