The province of Almería exported 375,000 tonnes of tomatoes worth €621 million in the 2024/25 season, which represented a 5.4% increase in volume and a 9.26% increase in value compared to the previous season. The average price also rose by 12% to €0.90 per kg, and the total returns paid to growers reached €730 million.
