France: Tomato production in 2024 on the rise

In 2024, a total of 111,300 tons of tomatoes were produced there, -2% compared to the previous year and -16% compared to the five-year average. In second place is Western France with 570 hectares in Brittany, where 141,300 tons of tomatoes were harvested - despite the smaller area, more greenhouses are used for cultivation here.
