In 12 years, Moroccan tomatoes could turn Spain into a net importer.
The Coordinadora de Organizaciones de Agricultores y Ganaderos (COAG) has called for urgent measures at European level against unfair competition from imports from third countries in the tomato sector.
The head of Fruit and Vegetables of COAG, Andrés Góngora, has participated in the meeting of the EU Tomato Market Observatory and has demanded the implementation of measures to combat unfair competition from third country imports in the tomato sector.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
