With less than a month to go before the start of Ramadan, protests in Morocco have been on the rise. Although limited by the lack of democratic freedoms, or precisely because of it, these mobilisations are important as they show the great discontent of the population with the rising cost of food. The price of tomatoes has tripled on the Moroccan market.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
