Tomato prices are increasing due to the summer heat.

It is tough working in the tomato greenhouses this summer due to the heat, but growers are currently being compensated for it. Tomato prices saw a significant increase last week. Loose tomatoes are selling for €1.36 per kilo, while vine tomatoes are priced at €1.40 per kilo on average at the auctions of the Federation of Belgian.
