Two Odessa-based companies, Fakel and Diana-M, are among the largest vegetable growers in southern Ukraine. They are changing their production strategy due to extreme heat and high irrigation costs reshaping the region's vegetable sector. These family-owned enterprises cultivate a total of 1,200 hectares, with 900 hectares specifically dedicated to vegetable farming.
